Homecoming

I’m delighted to sign for Ajax U19, returning to the place and team that shaped me both as a player and a coach and where I’ve made so many great memories. Working here again over the past few weeks has been like stepping back in time—it’s a true déjà vu.

I remember walking around here at the same age, fighting for my dream to come true. Being part of one of the world’s best youth academies is a privilege and an incredible opportunity. It’s easy to overlook this while you’re here, but after experiencing different countries and academies, I can confidently say that the Ajax Youth Academy is among the very best in the world.

I’m excited to guide the next generation of players, helping them achieve their dreams just as I achieved mine with Ajax’s first team. Having walked this path myself, I understand the challenges they face and the details that make all the difference. I know firsthand how they feel at various stages of their journey, and I’m committed to supporting them in reaching their goals.

I’m deeply grateful for the experience and the journey I’ve had. Now, it’s time for me to give back and help others embark on their own great journeys. In life, there’s a time to receive, and there’s also a time to give back. Now is my time to give.  At your service, I salute you🧑🏾‍✈️
